How it works
Kova Competitions runs skill-based prize competitions. Every competition has one simple question. You must answer it correctly to enter.
Entering
- Choose a competition and read the details.
- Answer the skill question, choose how many entries you want and give your details.
- Pay securely through PayPal. We never see your card or PayPal login.
- Your entry numbers are shown on screen and emailed to you.
The draw
When a competition closes (or sells out) the winning entry is picked at random from all valid entries. The winner will be selected on our Facebook page with a live draw using Google’s Random Number Generator. The winner is contacted by email and the winning number is published on the competition page.
Free postal entry
You can enter any of our competitions for free by post. To enter by post, send a handwritten postcard or letter containing:
- Your full name
- Your full postal address
- Your date of birth
- Your email address
- Your telephone number
- The name of the competition you wish to enter
- Your answer to the skill question

Postal entries must arrive before the competition closing date and time.
Each valid postal entry will be treated in the same way as a paid entry and will be included in the same random draw.
No purchase is necessary. Standard First Class or Second Class postage may be used. We do not accept Special Delivery, Recorded Delivery or other premium postal services.
Postal entries must be sent individually and must contain all the information requested above. Incomplete or illegible entries may be deemed invalid.
The free postal entry route is available to UK residents aged 18 or over, subject to the full competition terms and conditions.

How do I enter a competition?
Choose a competition, answer the skill question correctly, choose how many tickets you want, enter your details and pay securely with PayPal, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your ticket numbers are shown on screen and emailed to you.
How are my ticket numbers chosen?
Ticket numbers are allocated at random from all the numbers still available in that competition, not in the order tickets are bought.
How is the winner picked?
When a competition closes or sells out, the winning ticket is drawn at random live on the Kova Competitions Facebook page using Google's Random Number Generator. The winner is contacted by email and the winning number is published on the website.
Is there a free way to enter?
Yes. Every competition has a free postal entry route. Postal entries are treated the same as paid entries and are included in the same random draw. Full details are on the How it works page.
Who can enter?
Entrants must be 18 or over and live in the United Kingdom.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payments are handled by PayPal. Kova Competitions never sees or stores your card or PayPal login details.
What happens if a competition sells out while I am paying?
If a competition sells out or closes before your payment completes, your payment is refunded automatically.
